The big, fat, incredibly true, funny, heartbreaking, and inspiring story of
"Elizabeth Anne, you were born fat!" With these words, spoken by her mother, Elizabeth is off and running on a lifetime of fad-diets, crashing weight loss, crushing failures, and binge eating. Her weight see-saws for decades between 150 and 250 pounds. In her 50s, Elizabeth decides to take control of her life, her weight, and her happiness. The audience joins our heroine for this rollercoaster ride that is part weight loss meeting, part confessional, and part tent revival only to find that joy can be found at any size.
This solo show is small in scope, but enormously relevant in a world struggling with body image issues, eating disorders, and an obesity epidemic. Come be inspired!
